(EN) Class D do-it-yourself stereo HiFi with Tripath TA 2040 chip

This is the little Hi-Fi I built. It is based on two Wondom serie boards from Sure Electronics, a company famous for manufacturing printed circuit amplifiers.

The important premise is that this project was born with two purposes: to create a Hi-Fi stereo starting from a minimum budget and to gain some experience while having fun. This means that someone more experienced in Hi-Fi than me will turn their nose up at some of my choices, probably with good reason. I am sure this project could be put together with better components, but that is not its purpose. Be lenient.

The two cards used are the AA-AB32155, capable of 2x15 Watt in class D based on the Tripath TA

(IT) Stereo autocostruito in classe D con chip Tripath TA 2040

(EN) A simple IN/OUT router for your pedalboard - How to build one

I have been playing guitar for thirty years and, like all guitarists, I tend to complicate my life with a ton of pedals, multi-effects, MiDi controllers and so on. For this reason I have to think carefully about the organization of my pedalboard, so as not to find myself with a wild forest of buttons underfoot and having to take flamenco lessons.

Designing a good pedalboard is not easy, but it is not that rocket science that is boasted by many and that scares

- A comic book guide teaches you to solder surface mount components

In a previous post I told you about a comic book guide teaching the first rudiments to learn to solder: Soldering is simple! A comic book teaches you to solder. The techniques illustrated in this comic concern the welding of THT components (Through-Hole Technology).

In Internet, however, there is another comic book guide, created by Greg Peek and Dave Roberts, which aims to teach

(IT) MCP23017 I/O port expander - Come usarlo con Arduino

(IT) Pedale per chitarra autocostruito - Il buffer A-1

(EN) MCP23017 I/O port expander - How to use it with Arduino

The MCP23017 chip is I/O port expander that uses the I2C communication protocol. You can connect it to your Arduino using only two pins (those needed for I2C communication) and get 16 more digital I/O ports in return.
Furthermore you can chain up to eight expander in series and get 128 digital ports, always at the small cost of two pins.

This is a simple circuit to explain you how to connect and use the MCP23017: connect a momentary button
